Our workshops

In our advanced mending and fixing workshop, we’ll go below the surface and really look at what happened.
This workshop is for you, if you are already comfortable fixing most damages in knits without help.

Because fixing never ends, there is always more to learn.
We won’t be able to cover everything, instead we will tailor our workshop to the attendee’s needs.
In this workshops we will focus on:
- Complicated mendings involving broken yarn, moth damage and larger holes
- Re-knitting parts of the piece by hand
- Invisible repair techniques
- Visibile, artistic repair techniques like Sashiko and Boro

Aiming at advanced knitters, consider visiting our beginner’s mending class if you feel unsure about your skills. This workshop requires experience in knitting. If you’re just starting out, visit our beginner’s knitting course first.

This workshop is meant for advanced and knowledged knitters trying to fix bigger mistakes in things you make or bigger/ complicated damages in knits you already own.

In our beginner’s mending and fixing workshop, we’ll get you repairing hands-on.
You will learn to differentiate and estimate different damages, and learn techniques on saving your favourite pieces from the bin.

The world of mending is quite a large one and some techniques go deep-deep.
In this workshops we will focus on:
- Darning small holes in knitwear
- Picking up and securing running stitches
- Visible repairs

If you are well-versed in fixing already and want to go full-fixer, or if you’re facing complicated damages, consider contacting us first or book our advanced mending workshop.

This workshop is meant for freshly seasoned knitters trying to fix small mistakes in things you make or small damages in knits you already own.
Basic knitting knowledge is needed to follow through, if words like knits, purls, cast-on and bind-off scare you, visit our beginner’s class before booking this workshop.

If only your grandmother’s taste in colours would be better, would you wear her sweaters then?
Let’s get you sorted and rediscover what’s been sitting in your (and her) closet.

In this workshop, you will be introduced to whole garment dyeing – The process of dyeing an entire piece of clothing after the fact, not before production. Not only does this technique allow for peak creativity and experiments, using this technique lets you recover and reintegrate the things you already love.

We will be using natural dyeing techniques, pigments from nature and processes as old as cloth.

The best thing about mini scarfs is, that everybody likes them.
What? Your aunt doesn’t? She’s just never seen one in her favourite colour.

During this workshop, you’ll learn how to convince your aunt that she does in fact like mini scarfs. You’ll also be making a mini scarf of yarn you either bring or go the comfy route and get supplied by us.

What you will learn:
- How to choose the right yarn and needles for this project
- How to make custom mini scarfs from start to finish

Techniques / knowledge needed for this project:
- Cast on
- Knits and purls
- Bind-off

This course is right for you, if you already know the basics of knitting and crocheting. Knitting Newbs are welcome to check out our beginner’s class.
For this project, we will supply you with a selection of fine yarn in a variety of colours, as well as corresponding needles.

If your knitting journey is just beginning, start here.
In this workshop, you’ll learn the fundamentals you’ll need for everything else to come.
Together, we will knit a small sample consisting of the different stitches and techniques you will need. Smart and diligent knitters love knitting swatches before starting a big project, so you can be sure you’re happy with your choice of yarn and needle size. Sounds like a drill, but it’s more like a snack for your hands. Personally, I can’t stop.

What you will learn:
- Picking the right yarn and corresponding needles for your project
- Casting on
- Knits and purls (right and left stitches)
- Casting off

This course is right for you, if you’re standing at the very beginning of your knitting journey or just haven’t knit in a while and want a little refresher.
It’s much less scary together! You’ll be knitting scary things (fearlessly) in no time.

If you’re just starting out crocheting, begin here.
In this workshop, you’ll learn the fundamentals you’ll need for everything to come.
Together, we will crochet a small sample consisting of the different stitches and techniques you will learn.

What you will learn:
- Picking the right yarn and corresponding crocheting needles for your project
- Single crochet
- Half double crochet
- Double crochet
- Casting off

This course is right for you, if you’re standing at the very beginning of your crocheting journey. It’s much less scary together! You’ll be knitting scary things (fearlessly) in no time.

Knitting is just more fun together.
Bring your projects, ideas, yarns, needles and inspiration.
Don’t forget to pack your questions! This knit-together is meant to be a place for exchange, creative sparks and crafting together.
If the weather is good, we’ll sit outside, in front of our Studio in Reichenberger Straße.

Please note this is not a guided workshop, but a creative-meetup. There will always be room for troubleshooting, but should you need more starting help, consider visiting our beginner’s course first.
All experience levels welcome.

During this workshop, you’ll learn how to make your own iconic ruffle neckpiece.

This course is right for you, if you already know the basics of knitting and crocheting.
For this project, we will supply you with a selection of fine yarn in a variety of colours, as well as corresponding needles.

If your knitting journey is just beginning, start here.
In this workshop, you’ll learn the fundamentals you’ll need for everything to come.
Together, we will knit a small sample consisting of the different stitches and techniques you will learn.

- Increases
- Decreases
- Elastic bind-off
- Troubleshooting

This course is right for you, if you’re already a seasoned knitter, when you are comfortable knitting and feel ready for the next step. You will learn a few new techniques and start your new raglan project.
